TESTIMONIALS

I never had even heard of Osteopathic therapy before I met Trisha. She’s been able to help me overcome years of back pain by providing me with diligent support and care. I’ve been to chiropractors and RMTs and no one has been able to help my back the way Trisha has. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get their body right!

— Sam E.

Trisha is the best osteopath I’ve been to. Her pricing is reasonable, so i was able to get in a good number of sessions to treat my imbalances. I felt better after each visit, and at some point noticed a shift in my body that felt like things really settled into place. I appreciate Trisha’s clear and open communication so that I felt comfortable with the treatment plan and her personality is great, making each visit enjoyable!

— Jenn S.

My sessions with Trisha have been incredible for my postpartum healing. I felt immensely better after each session. She worked on my chest and back, as well as other tension she noticed on my body. Trisha is very easy to connect to and has a great knowledge of her field! So far I had 3 sessions and excited to keep coming back.

— Victoria R.

Trisha is an exceptional osteopath. I had been struggling with plantar fasciitis for months and had tried several modalities without any change, and it wasn’t until I started osteopathic treatments with her things started to improve. Her approach is both professional and compassionate, and she has a deep understanding of how to treat musculoskeletal issues effectively and holistically. Thanks to Trisha’s expert care, my PF pain is now essentially zero. Would highly recommend her in a second.

FAQs

  • Osteopathy is a natural, hands-on approach to health that supports your body’s own ability to heal. Founded in the 1970s by Andrew Taylor Still in the Midwest United States, osteopathy was born from a deep respect for nature and the intricate intelligence of the human body.

At its core, osteopathy is based on the belief that dysfunction and disease arise when there are imbalances or restrictions in the body’s structure—especially when the flow of blood, nerves, and lymph is disrupted. Osteopathic manual therapy works to restore motion and ease in all tissues—muscles, fascia, bones, ligaments, vessels, and nerves—so your body can return to its natural state of balance and health.

By gently freeing up restrictions, osteopathy activates your body’s self-healing and self-regulating systems—helping you feel better, move better, and live with greater ease.

  • Each osteopathy session is tailored to your unique needs. Appointments usually last 30 minutes and begin with a brief health history update and structural assessment. Treatment involves gentle, hands-on techniques like myofascial release or post-isometric relaxation to ease tension and restore balance.

You’ll remain fully clothed and may lie on your back, stomach, or side while your practitioner gently moves your arms or legs to guide treatment. Sessions are often deeply calming and leave you feeling more at ease in your body.

  • You’ll stay fully clothed during treatment. Wear loose-fitting or stretchy clothing—something comfortable that allows you to move easily and relax during your session.

  • Some people feel immediate relief, while others may experience short-term discomfort or soreness—similar to how you might feel after a workout. This is a normal part of the body’s adjustment process as it integrates postural and structural changes. It typically takes 2–3 days for the body to settle. During this time, it’s best to avoid strenuous exercise or heavy lifting.

  • Everyone can benefit from osteopathic treatment. It supports overall vitality and helps with a wide range of concerns—from acute injuries and chronic pain to sleep issues and general physiological function. If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, feel free to book a free consultation to discuss your specific needs.
